What a FANTASTIC maternity session!!!!!!!

The {K} family has always been one of my favorite families to photograph. They are gorgeous & really know how to work it!

Mama {J} put a lot of thought and planning into this shoot from her stunning jewelry to getting her make up professionally done. We headed out to the dry lake bed just minutes before the sun set and got some gorgeous shots of that beautiful bronzed baby belly! LOVE!LOVE!LOVE!

Dear Blog,

I'm sorry I've been away for so long.

I have missed you so!

The last eight months have been a long, hard road...

I had knee surgery back in March.

I am healed now and it is time to play catch up with all of the things that I love.

My dear ones, school, & last but not least my photography.

Let's kick it off with a photo of one of my favorite families.

This was the first extended family session that I've done & I think it went pretty well considering that I was on crutches! Yes ... my stupid butt ... even on crutches I can't say no to that lovely sound of the shutter!

Las Vegas Portrait Photography-Mother & Son

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm finally posting sessions from 2011!!!  LoL!!! I'm trying...it's so hard to find time to catch up on my {Blog}! I've got an almost 2 year old  busy little boy running around that needs constant supervision & interaction.
Lord knows I LOVE him to death...but he is ALL boy & definitely a handful!!! ;) 
So, back in January I headed  to "The Arts District" downtown with Mama{M} & her very courteous & handsome son {C}. They both started out a little camera shy but, warmed up real fast & were naturals @ posing for the camera! We had an ABSOLUTE blast!!! I can't wait to do {C's} senoir portraits!

Yay!!!! My final post left from 2010!!!! This is Mama{E}, {R},& {A}. I taught both of these cuties back to back in preschool they were always so much fun in class & I missed them dearly! I was soooooo  EXCITED when Mama{E} contacted me to do some family photos for their Christmas cards!

POST #100-Las Vegas Family Photography-Las Vegas Child Photography

This was one of my all time favorite sessions! :) Don't get me wrong...I love the babies...but...it was so much fun to work with some older kids & be able to tell some corney jokes {Why was 6 afraid of 7?} & make funny faces & have them either laugh or make them back at me! {instead of cry} LoL! Mama{P} and her kiddos. I love me some photos of mamas & their children!  Because as we all know mamas are hardly ever in any photos, we are always the one behind the camera! I'm so privileged to be able to give such a wonderful gift!

{M} Family-Las Vegas Family Photography

My friends Daddy{D}, Mama{C}, {C}, & {W}. We headed up to Calico Basin this past Fall To shoot some family portraits exactly one year later from when I embarked on this journey. Here they are in November of 2009 as my VERY FIRST willing models{scroll down to the bottom of the page after you click on this link}! Thanks for being some of my BIGGEST fans guys!!!!  =)

I had SOOOOOOOOO much fun with this family!!!  They are so HAPPY!  Little man just turned O-N-E & obviously I had to work in some maternity shots!  =)  Did I mention easy going???  Yeah....cause we almost got kicked out by the park rent a cop.  They totally helped me play it cool! =)  I can't wait to meet baby #2!

New Addition

The Greatest Happinesses Are  Family Happinesses!!!  Welcome Baby {P}!!!  This was my second newborn shoot.  It was so nice to be able to go into their home and do such a relaxed session in their own environment.  I think I really captured some natural interaction & expressions.   Here are some of my favorites.. ♥ EnJoY!

{G} Family Reunited

So, a couple of days after the {G} Family was reunited we went out to Floyd Lamb to bust out some LONG overdue family photos!!!  :o)
{R} and {M} were too CUTE! They were like 2 teenagers on their first date!!!
                           (((nervous...excited...bashful...awkward)))
{M} had been deployed for 3 years!!!!!!!!!!!!! With a few visits here & there.   CRAZZZZZZZZZZZZY!!!!!!  They sure do have some catching up to do! ;-)
But, by the end of the session they were definitely warming up to each other!!!! I had a great time with you guys!!!! THANK YOU for a wonderfully fun session!!!!!
